Because every Esker frame is made to order in our Sussex workshop, we have complete control from start to finish. This allows us to control every step of production, and allows you to fine tune your Esker your way. From custom geometry through to bespoke finishes and more. So if a stock geometry frame doesn’t work for you, we’ll make you one that does, and with careful consideration on components we can further customise every build to ensure the fit is perfect.

We feel that having a frame that fits you perfectly is a critical part of the process. We have over 20 years of bike fitting experience and data to call upon to ensure your riding position is absolute pinpoint. You can make an appointment here for a fitting. No obligation.

Alternatively you can send us any fit data you have or if you have a bike that fits you perfectly, let us know and we can go from there.

Further information on our sizing and frame geometry can be found here.

Opting for an individually crafted frame presents the benefit of total customisation, tailored specifically to match your distinctive style and riding preferences. This flexibility enables the meticulous adjustment of each frame to cater to riders' specific needs, encompassing personalised frame geometry, customised cable routing, the addition of extra eyelets, and the option for unique frame finishes, including bespoke paint designs. Virtually anything is within the realm of possibility.

When considering complete bike purchases, the range of achievable specifications is extensive. If you have a specific vision for your upcoming bike build, just let us know, and we can turn your ideas into reality.

Step 1. Get in touch:

Call, email, or book a visit online by clicking here .

Alternatively, reach out to your local Enigma dealer, who will guide you through the process.

Step 2. Discussion:

To get started, please complete our

This form gathers essential details such as:
-Your personal information (name, address, contact details)
-Riding style
-Bike fit data (if known)
-Objectives and targets

If you don't yet have bike fit data, don’t worry—we can still move forward and gather that information later. Once we have this information, we’ll prepare a CAD drawing of your frame and start discussing your bike’s specifications, including geometry, finish, and components. We will also give you a price based on your preferences.

Step 3. Deposit:

If you're happy to proceed with your order, we will request a deposit of £2000 to confirm your place in the queue and move forward with the build process.

Step 4. Final Sign-Off:

We will send a final copy of your CAD drawing, a mock-up of your finished frame, and our Build Form for your approval. Once signed, your order will proceed directly to the workshop. At this stage, no changes or amendments can be made without incurring additional costs.

The next stage requires a bit of patience! We aim to have your frame completed within 60-90 days, depending on the level of customisation required for the geometry. If you're opting for a full bike build, we'll be busy during this time gathering and ordering all the necessary components. Once your frame is finalised, our mechanics will get to work on the assembly.

Throughout the process, you’ll receive updates from the workshop at key milestones to keep you informed on the progress. Please note that additional time may be needed for any custom paintwork.

When your Enigma is ready for handover, we’ll request payment of the remaining balance. We accept all major debit and credit cards and partner with leading Ride to Work schemes, as detailed below. Please note that some schemes may include a surcharge due to higher commission rates.

To streamline the process, we kindly ask you to confirm your preferred payment method when placing your order, including whether you plan to use a Ride to Work scheme. If you’re paying the full amount through a cycle scheme, your deposit will be refunded once we’ve received the funds from the voucher company.

The Inspiration

The Esker represents a focused approach to performance gravel bike design, created for riders who want speed, efficiency, and confident handling beyond the tarmac. Race-inspired at its core, it blends the precision and responsiveness of a road bike with the stability and control required for fast gravel riding and endurance events.

Crafted from Reynolds Grade 9 (3Al/2.5V) titanium tubing, the frame balances low weight, lateral stiffness, and long-distance comfort. The use of Reynolds tubing not only enhances ride performance but also reflects a considered approach to material efficiency and sustainability.

Each Esker frame is built to order, offering a fully custom titanium gravel platform for riders seeking a tailored fit and specification. Those looking for a complete, ready to ride performance gravel bike with the same intent may also consider the Edge, while the Esker remains the fully bespoke option within the range.

Our Signature frames are true one-offs—handcrafted to order in Sussex, England.

Built entirely in-house, we have complete control over every stage of production, from expert design and precision frame building to meticulous finishing, painting, and final assembly. Every frame undergoes rigorous quality checks at each step, ensuring it not only meets but surpasses our exacting standards—earning the prestigious Enigma logo.

We take immense pride in our craftsmanship, our dedicated team, and the fact that we are one of the few workshops in the world producing truly bespoke, handcrafted titanium frames.

Every frame bearing the Signature logo is a testament to our commitment to world-class British frame building, proudly made in Sussex.

The Details

Every detail of the Esker is engineered to support high-performance gravel riding, combining race-ready intent with refined titanium engineering. Influenced by the road-focused Eikon, the Esker can be specified with an optional integrated cockpit, delivering a clean, modern aesthetic and fully internal cable routing for riders seeking a streamlined setup.

A T47 bottom bracket allows for concealed cable routing while increasing stiffness and bearing durability. Generous tyre clearance of up to 50mm enables fast, confidence-inspiring setups across a wide range of gravel conditions, from hardpack to rougher, high-speed terrain. UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) dropouts further improve drivetrain precision and long-term serviceability.

Handcrafted in England, the Esker is available with custom geometry, fittings, and dropper seatpost compatibility. Built for speed, control, and endurance, it is a race-focused gravel bike designed to perform consistently over long distances and demanding terrain.

Reviews

The Cyclist

"The Esker is a beautiful, practical, sustainable, British-made gravel bike that is not honed for any particular specialism but does a number of things very well. In terms of the gravel spectrum, it may be in the middle, but it is anything but mid". To read the full review please Click Here

Enigma Customer - Simon Cook

I'm really, really pleased with it - it's comfortable, stable and looks great! It's been on and off road locally on the Ridgeway (dry dirt flint track) and round the Elan Valley and forest tracks in Wales and covered well over a thousand miles so far.

Enigma Customer - SF

Quick delivery and well-packaged. Most of all, my signature Esker is very nicely painted and welded. I’m looking forward to assembling my dream bike!!
