Having a frame that fits you perfectly is a critical part of the process. We have over 20 years of bike fitting experience and data to call upon to ensure your riding position is absolute pinpoint. Our set frame sizes at 1cm increments will work very well for the majority of people but there is also a full custom geometry option (extra charge) should the set size not work for you.

Each Elite is handmade to order in our Sussex workshop which gives us complete control over the whole process from start to finish. This means every frame can be tuned to the riders’ specific needs, whether it be custom frame geometry, tyre clearance, cable routing, eyelets, frame finish and more. For full bike purchases almost, any specification is possible so if you have something in mind for your new bike build, just let us know and we can make it happen.
If you purchase a complete bike, it will be supplied fully assembled although a small amount of assembly may be required if the bike is shipped via a courier service. We can build a bike using components supplied by customers, please get in touch to discuss options and prices.
To get started call, email or book a workshop visit online via our website. We will discuss your riding style, your objectives and targets as well as considering any existing bike fitting data that you may have. This information will enable us to create a precise picture of just what you are looking for.
Alternatively speak to one of our chosen cycle retail partners to guide you through the process, all carefully selected for the expertise, facilities and service they provide
Once the design and specification are complete and signed off, we will request a deposit of £1000 to hold your production slot. Once the deposit has been made, your bike will then be added to our workshop build list. It’s at this point that we will collate all of your chosen build parts for assembly.
Please note, if you’re intending to pay through a cycle scheme then your deposit will be refunded once we’ve processed your voucher, normally upon handover of your bike or frameset
Our current lead time is between 4 – 5 months. A painted frame finish will add another 30 days

Elite HSS
From customers to the cycling press and with several further enhancements along the way the Elite HSS steel road bike has won many plaudits since its introduction in 2014. If you take a deeper look it’s easy to see why. Crafted by hand from a Columbus Spirit HSS triple-butted tube set and finished in every way to an exceptional level, this modern classic exhibits those clean contemporary lines so typical of Enigma designs.
The latest incarnation of the Elite HSS is designed for the newest generation of wider road rims and tyres. Responsive, nimble and precise, it exhibits all the hallmarks of a great ride coupled with that legendary steel road bike character and ‘feel’. A genuine alternative, this state-of-the-art steel frame provides an attractive option for those looking for something a little different.
Each and every Elite frame is built to order in our Sussex workshop. To ensure it’s truly unique in every sense, we finish each build in the colour of your choice, or provide a full custom finish option at extra cost.
