The Inspiration
Building upon the success of our 6al 4v Excel model, we set out to create a race-inspired gravel bike, mirroring the outstanding on-road performance of the Excel. Harnessing the inherent advantages of 6al 4v titanium—its lightweight nature, super strength and lateral stiffness, our aim was to engineer a swift and agile bicycle capable of effortlessly navigating diverse terrains. After extensive testing, we found that a deliberate blend of 6al 4v and 3al 2.5v titanium yielded the optimal balance between performance and comfort. This alloy fusion not only enhances the bike's overall performance but also ensures the comfort needed for extended rides. The Esker is a testament to this thoughtful synthesis of materials, delivering a superior riding experience by marrying the weight and stiffness benefits of 6al 4v titanium with the comfort elements of 3al 2.5v.
Each Esker frame is a bespoke masterpiece, meticulously crafted to order, embodying the artistic essence that defines the Enigma brand.
