The Titanium Bikes Turning Heads at Rouleur Live 2025

Rouleur Live delivered another unforgettable celebration of cycling culture, and this year felt especially meaningful for us here at Enigma Bikes. The atmosphere was electric, the community inspiring, and the bikes…well, they truly stole the show.

There’s no denying that the market has been tough for smaller independent bike brands in recent years, so seeing such passion and enthusiasm for British framebuilding was a powerful reminder of how much the cycling community values craftsmanship and authenticity. A massive thank you to everyone who visited our stand, shared their stories, and admired the beauty of our handcrafted titanium frames.

Honouring Our Heritage with the ESPRIT

The ESPRIT holds a special place in our story. First launched in 2006, it quickly became one of our most recognisable road bikes thanks to its traditional level top tube and timeless design. To mark two decades of British framebuilding, we unveiled a commemorative ESPRIT at Rouleur Live that honours the early days of Enigma.

The showpiece isn’t just a nod to our heritage; it symbolises everything that defines us to this day. Craftsmanship, precision and quality. It is constructed from Reynolds (3AL-2.5V) mandrel butted titanium tubing, proudly produced in the UK, and finished with a flawless mirror polish. With traditional rim brakes and classic clean lines, this bike captures the spirit that shaped our beginnings. Seeing visitors connect with the ESPRIT, with many reminiscing about their own earlier models, was a highlight of the event for us.

Introducing the EXCEL Prototype

Sharing the spotlight with the ESPRIT was the EXCEL prototype, our next-generation high performance road bike due for release in Spring 2026. This prototype is crafted from a Grade 5 (6AL-4V)  titanium tube set that has been cold worked for increased lateral stiffness and double butted for reduced weight. New and improved features include a 3D printed seat cluster and UDH compatible dropouts, an IS52 head tube for a sleek modern look with internal cable or hose routing for an integrated cockpit, and a new T47 bottom bracket for improved stiffness and durability.

The EXCEL attracted significant attention throughout the event, and has since been featured in RoadCC’s latest article title ‘The coolest bikes of Rouleur Live 2025, which highlights the most striking and memorable bikes on display.

See You at Rouleur Live 2026

Rouleur Live is always a highlight for our team. It brings together people who share a love of bicycles and an appreciation for the craftsmanship behind them. We are incredibly proud to continue hand crafting titanium and steel bikes from our workshop in East Sussex, and events like this remind us why that commitment matters.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us. We look forward to seeing you next year at Rouleur Live 2026!
