Having a frame that fits you perfectly is a critical part of the process. We have over 20 years of bike fitting experience and data to call upon to ensure your riding position is absolute pinpoint. Our set frame sizes at 2cm increments will work very well for the majority of people but there is also a full custom geometry option (extra charge) should the set size not work for you.

Please see our sizing / geometry page

Each Endeavour is handmade to order in our Sussex workshop which gives us complete control over the whole process from start to finish. This means every frame can be tuned to the riders’ specific needs, whether it be custom frame geometry, tyre clearance, cable routing, eyelets, frame finish and more. For full bike purchases almost any specification is possible so if you have something in mind for your new bike build, just let us know and we can make it happen.

If you purchase a complete bike, it will be supplied fully assembled although a small amount of assembly may be required if the bike is shipped via a courier service. We can build a bike using components supplied by customers, please get in touch to discuss options and prices.

To get started call, email or book a workshop visit online via our website. We will discuss your riding style, your objectives and targets as well as considering any existing bike fitting data that you may have. This information will enable us to create a precise picture of just what you are looking for.

Alternatively speak to one of our chosen cycle retail partners to guide you through the order process, all carefully selected for the expertise, facilities and service they provide

Once the design and specification are complete and signed off, we will request a deposit of £1000 to hold your production slot. Once the deposit has been made, your bike will then be added to our workshop build list. It’s at this point that we will collate all of your chosen build parts for assembly.

Please note, if you’re intending to pay through a cycle scheme then your deposit will be refunded once we’ve processed your voucher, normally upon handover of your bike or frameset.

If your frame size is not available ex stock then the current lead time is between 2 –3 months.

We work with all the major Ride to Work schemes including:

Steel bikes have been present in the Enigma range for over 12 years, and although we are more widely known for our titanium frames, the roots of frame building lie in the tradition and skills honed over generations of steel frame builders. In a world of carbon and aluminium bikes there is something ‘Enigmatic’ about a modern steel bike, that provides a beautiful ride quality and modern performance blended with classic, timeless styling.

The Endeavour is handcrafted from a carefully considered blend of Columbus and Reynolds tubing with geometry optimised for stability over challenging terrain. Generous tyre clearance for 700c x 43mm or 650b x 47mm tyres ensures a wide range of wheel/tyre options for real versatility. There are mounts for mudguards, a pannier rack, and fork mounted cargo cages along with a versatile cable routing system to keep things tidy whether you’re using 1x, 2x, mechanical, Di2 or Wireless groupsets. Aimed at off road and endurance riding, the Endeavour frame features a higher stack height than some of our other models to enhance comfort levels over long distances.

The Endeavour is a striking, versatile, modern gravel bike for lovers of steel machines and sports a beautiful ‘Fade’ colour scheme for a stylish, contemporary look.

A feast for the eyes. Enigma dealer LightWolf Studio from Dresden, captured this stunning Steel Endeavour build assembled by their mechanic Nills.
