Mark

Master frame builder, designer and frame building teacher. 25 years in the trade so far. Youngest ever builder to become Reynolds 753 approved. Long time rider and bicycle addict. Mad about Campagnolo, Reynolds and Columbus. Totally patriotic and buy British made products whenever I can.

Likes: Frame building, bikes, Lotus cars, the internet and Vodka!

Dislikes: Onions, spiders and meat!

Christine

Our accounts manager and Jim's wife, Christine keeps the office and accounts in order. Looks after the general well being of the Enigma staff and keeps everything in tip-top shape.

Likes: Shoes, girlie stuff & travelling

Dislikes: Cruelty to animals

Joe

Artisan and perfectionist, Joe is our award winning titanium and stainless steel frame builder. Skilled in all aspects of tube cutting, mitering, tig-welding and finishing, he has worked hard at his craft under the guidance of Mark and is a a highly valued member of the Enigma team. Fiercely patriotic and dedicated to the Enigma cause, Joe loves his work and is fast building an enviable reputation.

Likes: Bikes, Beer, Sunny Days

Dislikes: Vodka, Mash Potato, Fiat Panda's

Greg

Our bike build technician, Greg has over 15 years of experience in the bike business having worked with ATB Sales and I-Ride before joining the Enigma team. A highly trained mechanic and engineer, Greg can do just about everything when it comes to bike builds and can usually offer a solution to any problem arising in the workshop.

Likes: Being left alone

Jaco

A keen racer, Jaco joined the team in 2011 having worked for Jim's old Company (now I-ride) for 9 years. Jaco is a fully-trained bike mechanic, bikefitting expert and is also the main man when it comes to our polishing work. Always smiling, Jaco will polish anything and everything, he is obsessed with polishing but in a good way. Just as much as he likes to polish, Jaco also likes to eat and will scoff just about anything if it looks remotely edible.

Likes: Meat of any variety, will eat anything that moves

Dislikes: Nothing really

Ollie

Ollie is passionate about all things cycling; 14 years in the bike trade, including retail sales and management, product training and now frame-building, eagerly learning from one of the most experienced builders in the UK;

Likes: Bicycle art, cycle touring, lugs, coffee and cake

Dislikes: Careless drivers, headwinds, trashy media

Damon

Almost resident designer looks after the brand identity, marketing and all things graphic. Damon has a long working association with Mark and the bicycle industry. Obsessed with typography and bicycles.

Likes: Campagnolo C-Record, Steak Frits, 1950's Abstract Expressionism

Dislikes: Hippocrits & Wheel Suckers
