» Do I need to use any special greases on my titanium enigma frame?

* There is only ever an issue when mating titanium to titanium and this will only ever occur if using a titanium seat post, if so we recommend
using copperslip or ti-prep.

» Whats the best thing to clean titanium with?

We recommend either soapy water or a household cleaner like cif or mr muscle, they all work very well.

» How can I stop getting finger prints on my titanium frame?

We recommend applying a tiny drop of baby oil or similar onto a clean cloth and then rub this into the titanium, this then applies a thin film
and stops any fingerprints or marks, it also adds a more lustrous gleam!

» I’m getting a creaking noise but can’t determine where its coming from, what could be the cause?

Usually creaking occurs and is caused by one of the following:

* A titanium railed saddle can creak especially if its been used in the wet, periodically take it off the seat post and
then clean and reassemble.

* Take off your pedals and clean and re-grease the threads, another big creak offender.

* Make sure your quick releases are done up very tight, a very simple and common mistake.

With components becoming ever lighter it is essential that all bolts on a high end bicycle like an Enigma are tightened to the correct torque settings with a torque wrench. Below you will find the most common settings for those that are not listed please refer to the manufacturers information.

* Campagnolo seat clamp 10N/MM
* Enigma titanium seat clamp 10N/MM
* Reynolds Ouzo Pro and Comp saddle cradle bolts 8 N/MM
* Campagnolo Chorus and Record saddle cradle bolt 18-22 N/MM
* Enigma carbon seat post saddle cradle bolt 10 N/MM
* USE alien saddle cradle bolt 3.5 N/MM

* Enigma stem front bolts 4 N/MM
* Enigma stem side bolts 6 N/MM
* USE race stem all bolts 5 N/MM

Campagnolo Veloce, Centaur, Chorus and Record:

* Ultra-Torque chainset main BB bolt 42-60 N/MM, we tighten to 50 N/MM
* Chainset chainring bolts 8 N/MM
* Rear mech gear hanger bolt 15 N/MM
* Rear mech cable bolt 6 N/MM
* Front mech cable bolt 5 N/MM
* Front mech main attachment bolt 5 N/MM
* Front and rear brake attachment bolts 10 N/MM
* Front and rear brake cable bolt 5 N/MM
* Front and rear brake block bolts 8 N/MM
* Ergopower attachment bolt 10 N/MM
* Cassette lockring 50 N/MM
